Channel 3 Kids Camp we are

dreaming about summer! For over

100 years Channel 3 Kids Camp has

been providing camperships to

children who otherwise would be unable to afford such an experience.

 

Tune into WFSB - Channel 3 on Saturday, March 2nd from 5am - 8am to see Kids Camp Spokesperson and WFSB Channel 3 meteorologist Scot Haney and reporter Nicole Nalepa host the annual live telethon to raise funds to bring children to camp this summer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Channel 3 Kids Camp is a non-profit organization – we are not owned or

managed by WFSB - Channel 3,

therefore they rely on support from the community. This support is

critical to provide camperships to help

bring children to camp.

 

The roots of the Kids Camp’s 108-year history began as a camp that brought children from economically challenged families to enjoy a week at camp that they otherwise would be unable to afford. With your help they can continue to provide these camperships.

 

Businesses, organizations and individual donors are invited to participate! All donors of $1,000 or more are invited to make a live presentation on air with Scot! This is a great way to showcase your business or organization and demonstrate your community support to over 40,000 households!

 

Proceeds from the telethon directly support year-round camp programs at the Channel 3 Kids Camp. Your participation will make it possible for all children to attend camp regardless of economic, physical or developmental ability to come play, learn, and grow without barriers.

 

Channel 3 Kids Camp believes that ALL children deserve a camp experience. Its mission is to provide fun year-round opportunities to children of all abilities, families, and communities through recreational and educational programs that promote diversity, acceptance, and environmental appreciation.  We are a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities through after school programming, weekend groups and respite weekends, traditional overnight and day camp summer programs, and our new, year-round child care center. Channel 3 Kids Camp is located in Andover and Coventry Connecticut on 150 wooded acres alongside the Skungamaug River. The setting lends itself to welcoming nature, learning, and each other.
