Our Camp Leadership Program is a powerful youth development experience; the program complements the academic skills that are learned in school with experiential life skills. Teens meet throughout the non-summer season for a weekend retreat at camp. The activities will provide training, leadership, skill-building and community service involvement.
Teens ages 14-15 years old that demonstrate leadership, integrity, respect for others and initiative over the course of the season will be chosen to apply for the Camp Leadership program. Teens ages 16 that have completed the Leadership Program are eligible to apply for the CIT program which will prepare them to become Junior Counselors. Participation in the weekend retreats does not guarantee a spot in our summer programs.
There is a $20 fee per participant in order to cover the cost of food and supplies. An application process is required for this program. Please contact Jes Vance, Director of Programs at 860-742-2267 or j.vance@channel3kidscamp.org for details.
