Give your child a summer filled with fun at the Channel 3 Kids Camp!
We offer the full experience: creative programming, educational activities, non-competitive sports and games, and time outside learning about nature! With over 100 years of experience, you'll be tapping into an expert summer camp resource.
Channel 3 Kids Camp offers traditional overnight and day camp opportunities for thousands of children in Connecticut and throughout New England. We are proud in our belief that any child that wants a camp experience should have one regardless of a family's ability to pay, or any physical or developmental disability. We are wheelchair accessible and can accommodate special dietary needs as well.

In 2019, Channel 3 Kids Camp will be offering 9 one-week sessions. Children may attend multiple sessions providing space is available. We are very proud to be a host site for several specialty weeks happening this summer through partnerships with other organizations. We look forward to welcoming back The American Dermatological Society's camp for children with chronic skin diseases in week 8. This will be our 11th year hosting Siblings Connection week, a week that reunites siblings that have been separated in the CT Foster System. It is held in partnership with CT DCF and Wheeler Clinic. In addition, we host a week in conjunction with the Epilepsy Foundation and a week for children with visual impairments called Camp Independence.
Summer camp isn't only about recreation. More than anything, Camp teaches children about life and how to live it well. Summer camp is a very effective teaching environment because it makes learning enjoyable. Our positive programming continues summer learning and encourages values for a successful life beyond camp. We promote leadership, diversity, and integrity with activities that broaden self-esteem, communication and respect for others.
