Our summer Camp Leadership program is for teens ages 14-15 years old. We offer both day and overnight camp sessions. While at camp the teens, will participate in educational, recreational activities that include community service projects, off-site field trips, guest presenters and an opportunity to be involved with the younger campers as they follow the guidance of our counselors and counselors-in-training staff. 

 

The program only accepts individuals that have gone through an application process that includes a written recommendation and interview. This program was designed as a way to build a strong pool of counselors-in-training. The years in the teen program are a training ground for our future Counselors-in-training and Junior Counselors. Channel 3 Kids Camp’s Teen program is a unique, highly regarded example of how great kids become great leaders. Those accepted into the program are individuals we observe as having leadership capability, responsible behavior and a desire to grow and learn as they continue into adulthood.

 

The overnight program runs for two four week sessions and the day program runs for one week sessions throughout the summer.

 

 

 

 

All applicants must have previously attended Channel 3 Kids Camp and have been invited to apply to the program. All applications for summer 2019 are due by April 1st.
