This is a one-week traditional overnight camp experience for children and teens who are blind, visually impaired, and deafblind. Participants must be pre-approved by the Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind. The purpose of this camp week is to empower children to participate in all activities to the best of their ability. They learn to advocate for themselves and engage in the community to the maximum extent possible. It is important that children with vision and hearing impairments be included in sports, physical and recreational activities, receiving the same opportunities as their peers to be successful.  A camp setting offers children the instruction and tools to learn how to become active members of their schools and communities.
