Our full-time team consists of dedicated professionals who work year-round to build exciting adventures for children of all ages. We are committed to quality, respect, and excellence in everything we do and strive to continually meet the needs and expectations of our campers, families, and participants.

Chief Executive Officer Now in her 11th year at the camp, Denise brings an extensive range of management, development and financial experience to the organization. As the Chief Executive Officer, Denise is responsible for the day to day management of the organization. She is focusing on expanding fundraising and program initiatives as well as bringing the camp to full ADA accessibility to allow the camp to include children with physical disabilities in an inclusive camp environment.

Chief Financial Officer Donna comes to Channel 3 Kids Camp with 30 years of non-profit bookkeeping experience, most recently as Director of Finance and Administration at AIDS Connecticut. She is also the Treasurer of First Congregational Church of East Hartford, a role she has held for the past 16 years. Her responsibilities at C3KC include fiscal management and oversight. She is excited to be at C3KC, where she can help make a difference in the lives of children.

Brian graduated from his home state of Colorado State University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resource Management, and went on to get an MBA from Antioch University, in Keene, New Hampshire. His professional experience started at C3KC and Nature’s Classroom in 2009. After taking some time away from Connecticut, Brian worked as an Assistant Camp Director for Camp Fire, and as a Director of Disaster Emergency Services with the American Red Cross.

Jes graduated from Plymouth State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her 10 years of experience with children includes: Early Childhood Development, Outdoor Education, Before & After School Programming, and of course Camp! She began her camp involvement as a camper here at C3KC, rising through the ranks of a camp professional to arrive at the Director of Programs.

Office Manager Joined the camp in 2008 and is responsible for coordinating of all business related aspects of the Channel 3 Kids Camp. She provides administrative support, accounting assistance, and supports all department members in achieving annual budgeted goals. Deb also works continuously on donation projects, generating many needed items for a successful camp.

Foundations & Government Relations Manager. Joan brings over 25 years of experience in nonprofit development, marketing & communications to the Channel 3 Kids Camp. A “nonprofit kid” at heart, she is happiest using her skills to better the lives of children. She is focused on increasing funding and awareness for our “Camp for All Kids” initiative to make the Camp fully accessible to children with disabilities. Joan holds a degree in communications from CCSU.

Susan joined Channel 3 Kids Camp in October 2013. Her responsibilities are to share the mission of the camp and to develop and execute fundraising sponsorships and relationships that will ensure the success of all Channel 3 Kids Camp programs. She is a seasoned sales professional with over 30 years of successful experience in the for-profit sector, most recently spending 13 years as Multimedia Sales Executive for The Bulletin Newspaper analyzing business needs and implementing creative solutions
Director of Maintenance Mark has been with the camp since 2003, maintaining our grounds, buildings, machinery and systems in top notch condition. He is essential for smooth camp operations as leader of the maintenance program. Mark also helps organize all of our volunteer days, is a Camp Venture's instructor and dedicated support to our summer program.

Facilities Assistant Prior to joining Channel 3 Kids Camp in 2010, Peter spent 30 years in the insurance industry in various commercial underwriting and management positions. Peter assists in maintaining our grounds, buildings, equipment and machinery as well as fundraising event support and logistics.
